हर रोज़ दिवाली होती है, हर रोज़ दशहरा  होता है.
हर रोज़ अच्छाई का, गर दिल पर पहरा होता है.

हर रोज़ दिवाली…….

दिल में राम है, दिल में ही तो रावण है.
दिल में ही पतझड़, दिल में ही तो सावण है.
मन चंचल है कहाँ कहाँ, ये जा कर ठहरा है

हर रोज़ दिवाली……

आज भी रावण ज़िंदा है, अट्टहास लगाता है.
कभी इस दिल में, कभी उसमें आता जाता है.
राम कहाँ है कोई बताये. रावण का पहरा है.

हर रोज़ दिवाली है……..

जगमग जगमग जोतों में, रावण खो जाता था.
संस्कार के साये में, आ करके सो जाता था.
अब बारूद के साये में, आकर के रावण ठहरा है.

हर रोज़ दिवाली होती है, हर रोज़ दशहरा होता है

TV SERIES AND FILM INDUSTRY OF TURKEY

Movie theater of Turkey, has existed over hundred years and is a world which achieved the make actual very valuable outputs. Our movie theater specially in the 70’s became an industrial area with intense production and possibility of distribution. In the beginning of the 2000, increasing technical equipment, reproduction of specialization, possibilities of freedom of expression that provided by democratic structure caused that production and distribution gained strong and thus our movie theater reached to large mass. Today, near to 60 million ticket sale is became in a year. Last year, 139 motion pictures came out in the motion pictures theater. In this year, finding 150 of this number is aimed. Also our movie theater achieved serious achievement thereby participating international film festival with the qualified products.

TV series sector in our country, gained serious grounds first over thirty years in TRT that is state channel, and second in 90’s with the established of private channels in the private sector. Today, Turkish TV series is an industry which exported to 100 countries and achieved the reach to over 400 million audiences. There are 9 national free TV channels which have production and distribution of TV series in our country. In different genres, near to the 100 of TV series production is made actual and reached to audiences.

As of today total size of TV series and film industry of Turkey reach the one-billion-dollar level.

In export of TV series, after the Hollywood, Turkish TV series rank as second place in the world ranking. In the light of information that acquired until today, our over 150 TV series is sell to abroad. This number is increasing each passing day. Hence we are feeling justified pride of broadcasting our three TV series and about to broadcasting one TV series in India.

Coming out of our country’s films in India; broadcasting of our TV series in TV’s and other platforms; signing of joint projects; realizing of co-productions with the Indian film makers and enhancing the cultural solidarity in two countries is our essential purpose.

THE SPOTLIGHT WAS ON TURKEY!

Active Participation in Festival from a 42-Member Hi-Level Turkish Delegation from Film and TV Industries 

October 27, 2016 – As the curtains draw on the country’s leading Festival, Jio MAMI 18th Mumbai Film Festival with Star, the spotlight was on Turkey. For the first time, a high level delegation of over 42 of the leading CEOs from the Film and TV Industry in Turkey, leading Producers, Directors and production houses, who were here to attend the Festival and showcase some of their best films to Indian audiences. They took active part in the Festival which opened on the 20th of October in Mumbai.

The festival brought together a selection of 10 of the best Turkish films especially curated for the Indian audience. The ten films that were screened to packed auditoriums at the Festival were — Album, My Mother’s Wound, Bride, Snow Pirates, Winter Sleep, Ember, Blue Bicycle, Dust, Whisper If I Forget and 8 Seconds.

The Indian media had the opportunity to meet the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, Huseyin Yayman,  the President of TESIYAP, Mr. Birol Guven, famous, leading actors in Turkey, Hazal Kaya, Sarp Levendoglu and Kaan Tasener. This media briefing was hosted by Turkish Ambassador H.E.  Burak Akcapar and Mumbai Consul General H.E. Sabri Ergen. There was a large contingent of Indian media present who showed great interest in the meeting where important messages were conveyed. It was an interesting engagement.

Alin Taşçiyan, Film Critic & President of FIPRESCI (International Federation of Film Critics) and Curator of the Turkish Films being screened at Jio MAMI this yearmoderated the press briefing session.

“CULTURE AND ART, ABOVE POLITICS”

Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, Huseyin Yayman invited Indian Filmmakers to Turkey and said:  “We want to increase the cultural and political values between Turkey and India; We believe art and culture to be above politics”

“WHEN WE DEVELOP CULTURE AND ART EXCHANGES WE BUILD MUCH MORE LONG LASTING RELATIONSHIPS”

In his speech, Mr. Huseyin Yayman said, “You already see images of Istanbul in the series but I invite you to come and stay in Istanbul. Between Turkey and India, there are such important historical bonds. I have come to offer you to go further in increasing the culture-art relations between Turkey and India on behalf of our President and Prime Minister. When we develop culture and art based exchanges, and build enduring we build really long lasting relations. In this sense, the Mumbai Film Festival is very important to us.”

Indicating the progress of relations between Turkey and India, H.E. Mr. Burak Akcapar, the Turkish Ambassador to India from New Delhi,  pointed out the global importance of the relation between Turkey and India. And he added,  “Having cinema for the whole progress in political, economical and cultural relations will build a bridge between two countries.

Consul General of Turkey in Mumbai, H.E. Mr. Sabri Ergen indicated that the delegation had chosen specifically to attend this Festival and highlighted their intent saying,  “We want to showcase our series, movies and talent.”

Festival Director, Anupama Chopra who accompanied the Turkish delegation at the Jio MAMI 18th Mumbai Film Festival, said it was exciting to welcome Turkey as a guest country.

We are delighted to have Turkey as our Country of Focus at this year’s Jio MAMI 18th Mumbai Film Festival with Star. We reached out to the Counsel General of Turkey, H.E. Erdal Sabri Ergen, who immediately swung into action about the idea of putting together films and various initiatives from Turkey. From a long list we chose 10 films across genres that represents this country, but more importantly, defines this country’s persona. There’s a film from 1973 (The Bride) as well as the recently highly acclaimed ‘Winter Sleep’, and a host of other contemporary films, all of which give you a perspective of the country as good films should.” – said Anupama Chopra, Festival Director, Jio MAMI 18th Mumbai Film Festival with Star

“WHEN YOU START SEEING TURKISH SERIES, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO STOP”

Addressing the media, the President of Tesiyap, Mr. Birol Güven, Spokesperson of the Delegation and CEO/Founder/Producer of Mint Motion Pictures highlighted that they want to have co-operation and co-productions and said: We are here to know you better and to see your culture.  And we want to tell more about ourselves because we don’t know each other, even though we have so much in common. I would like to warn you that when you start seeing our Turkish series you will not be able to stop. But don’t worry, we have a lot of series”

“I AM SO HAPPY ABOUT MAKING MY MOTHER PROUD”

Leading Turkish Actress, Hazal Kaya, the star of ‘Adini Feriha Koydum’ (Feriha) series which was  shown in India said that she is so excited about attending the festival.

Pointing out that Feriha was shown in Turkey five years ago, Kaya said, “Getting this interest in India for Feriha is so exciting for us. Actually Turkish series are shown in many countries. But seeing the result of this in India, is a different happiness for me. My mother grew up watching Indian movies. That’s why I am so happy to make her proud.”

“SEEING MYSELF DUBBED IN HINDI, I GOT SO EXCITED”

Highlighting that art is universal, the star of ‘Little Lord’, Sarp Levendoglu said, “Being together with the art that reaches everyone in the same way is making me so happy.  First time I saw myself dubbed in Hindi, I got so excited.” 

“ART IS THE WHAT  BRINGS US TOGETHER”

Highlighting the importance of art in people’s life, the star of the popular TV series, Fatmagul, Kaan Tasaner said, “Art is what brings us together. It is more important than the language we speak. Thanks to all of you who wants to see us here.”

TURKEY-INDIA ENTERTAINMENT FORUM (TV & FILM)

An engaging Turkey-India Entertainment Forum (TV and Film) was held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016. This session was co-chaired by Festival Director, Anupama Chopra, and the President of TESİYAP (Television & Cinema Producers Professionnal Organization of Turkey), Mr Birol Güven. The primary objective of the Industry Forum is to forge new relationships between the Film and TV industries of India and Turkey that will pave the way for collaborative productions, to build the legal foundation for co-production agreement and to contribute to the political, economic, artistic and cultural cooperation and solidarity between the two countries.

From the Turkish Delegation, special invitees included Turkish Ambassador in New Delhi Burak Akçapar, Turkey’s Vice-Minister of Culture & Tourism Hüseyin Yayman, Turkish Consul General in Mumbai Erdal Sabri Ergen, as well as prominent Turkish producers, Birol Güven, Ali Gündoğdu, Faruk Turğut, Şükrü Avşar, Ömer Atay, ATV and Kanal D Representatives, Mars Distribution CEO Ferhat Aslan; successful Turkish directors Reha Erdem, Çağan Irmak,  Ömer Faruk Sorak, Murat Şeker, Ümit Köreken, Faruk Hacıhafızoğlu participated in the panel discussion.

Representing the Indian film industry on the panel was India’s leading Filmaker, Vidhu Vinod Chopra of Vinod Chopra Films.

The visit was organised by TESİYAP,  (Television and Film Producers Professional Association),  and supported by the Ministry of Culture & Tourism, General Directorate of Cinema and Turkish Consulate General in Mumbai.

At Jio MAMI 18th Mumbai Film Festival

October 21, 2016 — Turkey is the ‘Country of  Focus’ in India’s prominent  Jio MAMI 18th  Mumbai Film Festival with Star scheduled to be held from October 20th -27th, 2016.

The festival will bring together a selection of 10 of the best Turkish films especially curated for the Indian audience. It will be attended by Turkey’s Vice-Minister of Culture & Tourism, General Director of Cinema, Turkish Ambassador in New Delhi, and many leading broadcasters, producers, directors, scriptwriters, actors and actresses. The aim is to enhance the political, economic, artistic and cultural co-operation between Turkey and India.

The project is organized by TESİYAP,  (Television and Film Producers Professional Association),  and supported by the Ministry of Culture & Tourism, General Directorate of Cinema and Turkish Consulate General in Mumbai.

The ten films being screened will include films — Album, My Mother’s Wound, Bride, Snow Pirates, Winter Sleep, Ember, Blue Bicycle, Dust, Whisper If I Forget and 8 Seconds (refer to attached Schedule). The first film that will be screened from the specially curated list of films for the Festival is the 2016 drama film by BKM — My Mothers Wound –today, Friday, 21st October at PVR ECX Audi 5 from 2:30 to 4:30pm.. Directed by Ozan Aciktan and featuring Meryem Uzerli and Belçim Bilgin, the film tells us a touching love story about the trials and tribulations of an orphan.

One of the key initiatives at the Festival is a Turkish Indian Forum of Entertainment (Film & TV) Industry on Wednesday, October 26, 2016.  It will be attended by Turkey’s Vice-Minister of Culture & Tourism, General Director of Cinema, Turkish Ambassador in New Delhi, Founders and CEOs of leading Turkish production houses, high level representatives of Turkish line production houses and TV Channels, leading Producers, Directors, Scriptwriters, Actors and Actresses from Turkey. The primary objective of the Forum is to forge new relationships between the Cinema and TV industries of India and Turkey that will pave the way for collaborative productions, to build the legal foundation for co-production contracts and to contribute to the political, economic, artistic and cultural cooperation and solidarity between the two countries.

During the Festival, the Turkish Consulate General in Mumbai, H. E. Mr. Erdal Sabri Ergen, will host a Turkish reception with the attendance of the following guests: Turkey’s Vice-Minister of Culture & Tourism Hüseyin Yayman, General Director of Cinema Erkin Yılmaz, Turkish Ambassador in New Delhi Burak Akçapar, Turkish Consul General in Mumbai Erdal Sabri Ergen as well as prominent Turkish producers Birol Güven, Ali Gündoğdu, Faruk Turğut, Şükrü Avşar, Ömer Atay, ATV and Kanal D Representatives, Mars Distribution CEO Ferhat Aslan; successful Turkish directors Reha Erdem, Çağan Irmak,  Ömer Faruk Sorak, Murat Şeker, famous actors Hazal Kaya, Sarp Levendoğlu and Kaan Taşaner.

Online वोटिंग के लिए त्वरित पंजीकरण

स्क्रीनराइटर्स एसोसिएशन के हमारे साथियों ! 

१६ अक्तूबर को SWA के कार्यकारिणी समिति के चुनाव हो रहे हैं. फेलो मेंबर्स को छोड़ कर बाकि सारे सदस्य जिनकी सदस्यता वैध है उन्हें चुनाव में मतदान का अधिकार है.  अगर आप किसी कारणवश वोट डालने के लिए वोटिंग स्थल सेलिब्रेशन क्लब, लोखंडवाला, अंधेरी (प) नहीं आ पा रहे हैं या यदि मुम्बई से बाहर किसी दूसरे शहर में रहते हैं तो आप ऑनलाइन वोटिंग का विकल्प चुनकर अपना बहुमूल्य मत मनोनुचित व्यक्ति को दे सकते हैं.

इसके लिए आपके सामने दो विकल्प है. 

अपना अगर आप स्क्रीनराइटर्स एसोसिएशन (पुराना नाम फिल्म राइटर्स एसोसिएशन) के वेबसाइट पर सक्रिय हैं यानी आपने अपना अकाउंट चालू किया हुआ है, तो Login करके अपने account में जाईये और ‘Register for Online Voting’ का विकल्प चुनिए फिर ‘I Agree’ box पर क्लिक कीजिए. बस, आप ऑनलाइन वोटिंग के लिए रजिस्टर कर लिए गये हैं!
शीघ्र ही कंफर्मेशन की सूचना आपके ईमेल आइडी पर आपको मिल जायेगी.

दूसरा विकल्प

यदि आप वेबसाइट पर सक्रिय नहीं हैं तो ऑनलाइन वोटिंग के लिए filmwritersassociation@gmail.com पर अपने रजिस्टर्ड ईमेल आइडी मतलब जो ईमेल आइडी आपने एसोसिएशन के रिकॉर्डस में दर्ज करवाया हुआ है, से ऑनलाइन वोटिंग के लिए रिक्वेस्ट भेजें. रिक्वेस्ट के लिए ईमेल भेजते समय subject के सामने ‘Online Voting Request’ लिखें और नीचे मैसेज लिखने की जगह अपना मेम्बरशिप कार्ड नम्बर और मेमबरशिप की श्रेणी भी लिखें. 

वोट करने का अधिकार एसोसिएट, रेगुलर और लाइफ मेम्बर को है, जबकि फेलो मेम्बर वोट नहीं डाल सकते. इसलिए फेलो मेम्बर कृपया रिक्वेस्ट न भेजें. 

रजिस्ट्रेशन करने का समय 15 अक्तूबर की शाम पाँच बजे तक है. तो जल्दी कीजिए.

Register for Online Voting by Email

Dear Member,

We have simplified the procedure for Online Voting Registration. Just send us your request from your registered email id to our email id filmwritersassociation@gmail.com mentioning your membership id and type (as on your card) with subject ‘Online Voting Request’.

If you fit the eligibility criteria we will instantly add you to the list of online voters and send you confirmation email. In case you don’t meet the eligibility criteria we will send an email mentioning the reason too.

Please note as per the SWA Constitution Fellow members cannot vote in SWA Elections. Only Regular, Life & Associate Members whose membership is valid can vote.

For this email requests we will keep the Online Voting Registrations open till 15th Oct 5.00 pm.

Now please hurry up and register quickly.
